If you are a young person aged 18-24 and looking for full-time employment, our dedicated and experienced youth employment advisers are here to provide the support you need including:

  • tailored information, advice, and guidance, which is based on your interests and aspirations, but also will also expose you to possibilities within growth sectors for higher paid jobs and sustainable careers. Priority sectors include:
    • creative digital/ digital tech
    • healthcare/ health & social care
    • construction
    • green jobs of the future
  • help to create your own plan to get into, and stay in, employment
  • access to ring-fenced training and career development opportunities within the council and other employers, including quality work experience placements and traineeships
  • ongoing progress reviews throughout your employment search journey
  • continued in-work support for a minimum of 6 months

Youth at Risk


Youth at Risk is commissioned by the Haringey Community Safety Team, under the wider Mayor of London’s VRU pan-London programme; the aim is identifying & engaging young people aged 18-24 considered ‘at risk’ :

  • criminality
  • NEET (Not in Education or Employment Training)
  • negative peer group/gang affiliation
  • previous history of offending
  • substance misuse related risk
  • anti-social behaviour
  • illegal profiteering
  • victim/perpetrator of violent crime
  • county lines
  • sexual exploitation

Haringey Works provide specialist, person-centred employment support to help Youth at Risk into relevant work or training.
